Day 2 of Canadian Quest

Woke up at seven this morning and hit the road with my trusty partner Mr Lindeman, who just so happens to be my F.F.I.L which as we all know stands for Fantastic Father In Law. Who incidentally has been graciously helping us move. After enjoying a delightful Starbucks, we set out once again for Toronto. From there we have continued on our way enjoying the scenery and talking about the less than intelligent drivers on the road who endanger us and their family members with their driving. Other than these events, there is not much more to talk about. We have come out of the mountains and almost out of Alberta and have stopped at a Holiday Inn Express in the town Medicine Hat. With about two and a half days left of driving, I look forward to the next 1,954 Miles with much anticipation.

Mountain Glory

Driving through the mountains of Eastern B.C. and the whole of Alberta, I have witnessed only a glimpse the beauty that our God in Heaven has placed before us. Mountains overlain with snow, the sun glistens off the tips and massive clouds hover over head. The vastness of the canyons and splendor of mountains have caused me to think on the glory of God. He has created a world that is beyond belief, yet this is nothing compared to his glory and magnificence. Why would God give such beauty to a people he knew would reject him and his laws, a people that would deny him and spit in his face. It's because He loves us. Why? You might ask, and I would tell you I don't know. It is a mystery I will never understand. Even though I cannot comprehend this love that is so grand, I cannot help but think, if this vast universe that is so majestically exquisite was created in six days, how beautiful our Final dwelling place will be which God has been building for at least two thousand years. I will forever be in awe and amazement over the love, care and gift of beauty which God has given us.

East Coast Endeavor

The first day of the trip to the East Side of Canada has been long and eventful. At 4 A.M. this morning I brought Steffany and Sean to the airport to see them off to Ontario. After many hugs and kisses and goodbyes, I left the airport and made my way back to the near empty apartment to gather trash and make a dump run after which I ventured to the USA and Canada border where a miracle occurred once again. Apparently there was some miscommunication when I visited the border, because the guy that was there today said that I can't get my visitor record extended at the border, but after some discussion he decided to go ahead and give me an extension on my visitor record. Praise the Lord. Then after that I activated my Canada phone so I can text Steffany. From this point I decided to go finish out the morning by finishing the cleaning of the apartment and packing of the car and with the help of Mr Lindeman, we were able to be on the road by 2 P.M. Rising early in the morning makes room for a sleepy car ride later in the day. I was working so hard on staying awake in the truck through the rain and the heavy snow but it just became to impossible so I gave in and went so sleep. We have since stopped for the night in Merritt BC for the night instead of taking on the intense snow in the dark dragging all of our stuff. More updates to come as they transpire.

Edwards Manor

Purpose and Beginnings

Basically all that I would like to do right now is explain what I will be using this blog for. I am starting to put my hand to photography and hopefully at some point and time be able to make some money through the use of my camera. I am definitely an amateur and that will be apparent by the photos that I post through the beginning of this blog, but with time and practice and learning hopefully you will see a definite improvement in my photographs, so stay tuned into this blog to see my photography as well as listening to some of the things I have to say involving myself and my views on life, love and happiness.
